Ajax Events Calendar/Scheduler

Posted by Ajax Lady

dhtmlxScheduler is a Web-based JavaScript events calendar that provides rich and intuitive scheduling solution similar to Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Apple’s iCal or Google Calendar. Due to dynamic data loading via Ajax the calendar events can be added/modified/deleted without refreshing the page. Advanced drag-n-drop functionality allows users to change events dates and time by easily moving or resizing event boxes. The events can be displayed in Day, Week or Month views. At the same time, the scheduler is very lightweight (about 19Kb gzipped) and fast-performing.

dhtmlxScheduler can be integrated with server database by means of dhtmlxConnector or your own server-side code written in any language (PHP, Java, ASP, etc.). Only a couple of code strings needed to set up client-server communication between in-browser events calendar and back-end database. Please see the documentation included in dhtmlxScheduler package for instructions and samples.

JavaScript API and extensive set of events provide dhtmlxScheduler with powerful customization capabilities. The developers can easily add/update events, adjust the look and feel of the calendar, change date format or calendar language.

dhtmlxScheduler comes with three types of licenses, FREE, Commercial and Enterprise. Fore more information regarding to license or updates please visit dhtmlxScheduler website.

Zapatec.com has a good script too but they don’t give a free version.

web2cal.com is a great script. they have a lot of features and integrating is most easy. but they don’t have a backend script.
